This month has exciting balance between your public life and private life. It won't be without drama, however, as we have a difficult total eclipse of the moon in Gemini due on December 21 that some, but not all, Pisces will notice. It's a complex month, so let's start at the top and see how the universe created the plot for December. It seems to be built upon layers in some way, and I will show you why I say that.
The month starts out with a superb new moon, December 5, in your tenth house of honors, awards, achievement, and fame. On October 28, Mars came into that house and began preparing for your ascent up the ladder, even if you were not aware your time was coming for recognition. Mars has been in your fame sector since October 28, and will leave December 7. The actions and decision you took last month were apparently the right ones, and those seeds will grow bigger this month.
For now, dear Pisces, watch the days surrounding December 7, for you will see some sort of clue to the kind of work you will be doing in the future - and solid evidence of how dearly your work is valued in this world!
There will be a few moments when you'll find things going wrong in your career, and those will happen on December 3 and December 17. In the first case, Mars will hotly challenge Uranus, and that's sure to produce a tense moment, especially for late-born Pisces (born near March 20). Do not be provoked - it will be hard to stay calm with an authority figure, but try anyway.
Then later, when Mars challenges the Sun on December 18, but felt one day earlier, Friday, December 17 as well, you may again come up against an authority figure who seems simply not to be acting right - his response seems to be shocking and weird. What this person says seems to come out of nowhere. At least you will know the character of this person and you can have him on your radar screen.
Mercury will be retrograde most of the month, from December 10 to 30, first in Capricorn, and then backing into Sagittarius, so both your social and professional houses will be affected. Mercury will bring back into your life old friends, colleagues, and VIPs you know but haven't seen in a long time. This will be great fun and you will enjoy catching up.
If you are given the option of taking a top level position with someone you used to know and liked, you can work with them again now, quite successfully. The rule of "never take a new job during a Mercury retrograde period" does not apply here - you can take that position if you are continuing a former relationship.
Mercury retrograde can cause glitches in communication, so walk the extra mile to make sure all your work is letter perfect. Be careful when copying people on email to be sure you don't add the wrong person automatically by mistake. We tend to lose things during retrograde periods, too, so you may want to tape your business card to the bottom of your laptop, slip your card into your sunglass and eyeglass cases, and tape your phone number to the back of your smartphone. These treasures are too valuable to lose!
Shopping during a Mercury retrograde period is always tricky. You are too close to the turn of Mercury to buy a computer, expensive appliance, or other high-tech item. I suggest you get a gift card for the value of the item and then offer to go with your beloved recipient to shop together in January. You can make it festive and you can even plan a lunch or dinner together. As my mother always told me, a gift without the giver is sad, so be there in person if possible and show the enthusiasm you have for that person.
Summary
You have been climbing the ladder of success for two months, and now, the new moon December 5 will add to the opportunities coming your way. Still, just prior to this new moon's appearance, Mars and Uranus will be at odds, and you may fall into an altercation with a VIP on December 3. Don't - you are on the verge of an enormous breakthrough, so maintain your reputation as cool, calm, and collected.
With Mars in your house of fame until December 7, in the first week, you will want to follow up on any pending career opportunities. Still, Mercury will be retrograde from December 10 to 30, so you won't be able to make any firm commitments or plans just yet. Wait until January to do so, for all through December conditions in your industry will be shifting. With a major new moon solar eclipse in Capricorn due January 4, you will need to factor in the eclipse's changes, too. By sitting tight you will be playing it right.
